Gutter Installation

JT West Coast Gutter & Roofing is a full service gutter installation contractor based in North Plains, OR serving the Portland metro area. Our team of skilled experts is here to ensure your home remains protected from water damage. We will guide you through the process of selecting and installing the perfect gutters for your home. All gutters are manufactured using a gutter machine at the installation site.

Gutters can be fabricated from pre-painted steel, aluminum and copper in a variety of colors. In addition, all new gutter installatons come with our 20 year material / 10 year labor warranty.

Types of Seamless Gutter

When it comes to gutter systems, it’s important to understand the differences between 5″K, 6″K, and fascia gutters. The “K” in their names refers to the shape of the gutters, with the “K-style” being the most common. The main distinction lies in their size. The 5″K gutter is typically used for residential properties and is suitable for areas with light to moderate rainfall. On the other hand, the 6″K gutter is larger and can handle heavier rainfall, making it ideal for homes with larger roofs, commercial buildings, barns and pole buildings.

Fascia gutters, on the other hand, are deeper and offer a sleek and seamless look. We offer two sizes of fascia gutters. Our Regular Fascia is 2 1/2″ at the bottom and 4 1/2″ at the top, while our JT Wide Fascia is 6″ at the top and 3 1/4″ at the bottom. The wider bottom gutters allows for greater water flow. Our 6″ fascia style gutter looks and works great on homes with steeper roofs. This gutter adds beauty and value to your home without sacrificing workmanship. See the different gutter types on our Gutter Photos page.

Types of Downspouts

When it comes to downspouts, there are several options available to efficiently channel rainwater away from your home. The most common sizes are 2×3 and 3×4 downspouts, referring to their rectangular dimensions. The 2×3 downspouts are typically used for residential properties and can handle average rainfall, while the larger 3×4 downspouts are used for larger roofs with greater amounts of water flow.

If you’re looking for a more modern and clean look, plain square downspouts provide a sleek and minimalist appearance. Round downspouts, on the other hand, offer a classic and traditional look that complements various architectural styles. We generally recommend the corrugated downspout, because it tends to clog less than the square version.
